The Sarawak Alumni of the University of Adelaide (SAUA) was established in Malaysia in 2002. The main objects of the association are to foster fellowship, goodwill and co-operation between Australian graduates in Sarawak and to foster relationships between Australia and Malaysia. 

SAUA strives to be a premier graduates’ organisation in Malaysia and the region. The strategic focus of the association is in four core areas: social, community, business and education. The social and community roles involve linkages between graduates and employers, fellowship amongst graduates, international exchange, charity and caring for the less fortunate and the environment. Under business initiatives, the focus involve business networking, international linkages and business information of the two countries. With education roles, on-going seminars and training are undertaken, as well as involvement with educational matters related to Australia and Sarawak. 

There exist strong ties amongst the Australian graduates in Sarawak and also between Australia and Malaysia via the Australian Graduates in Sarawak. SAUA is most keen to continue and further foster these relationships.
